Longwell Green Sports Junior football Club has acheived F.A. Standard Charter Status. It has 14 boys and 5 girls teams with ages ranging from under 6 to under 16.

All under 9's teams play in a friendly league, after which their results will tell them which division of the Hanham Minor League they will join at the under 10's level.

The Hanham Minor League is for young footballers whose ages range from under 9 to under 11, after which they can join the Avon Youth League until their last season at under 16's level.

If they wish to continue they then go on to under 18's, where the adult side have several teams. The objective would be to play in the 1st team. They are in the Toolstation League (the old Western League) where they have just been promoted to the Premier Division.

Longwell Green Junior F.C. formed in 1966. They joined forces with Longwell Green Sports Football Club. Longwell Green Sports Juniors have approx 20 teams which includes 5 junior girls teams, all use our large football grounds with spectator stand.
