Longwell Green Community Centre has many rooms for hire at very competitive rates.

Phipps Hall (main hall)

• Maximum capacity 200 people dependant on layout/use
• Dimensions 20m x 10m (approx.)
• For hire Saturdays or Sundays dependant on times required
• Bar (subject to availability) 12noon - 2.30pm and 7:30pm - 11:30pm

This is a large bright room that can be used for many purposes. Phipps Hall has a sprung wooden floor ideal for dancing and exercise classes (including indoor Badminton), as well as fairs and shows. There is a large stage with drapes and lighting. In addition there is a large catering kitchen close by, also available for hire.

Theatre and Concerts

When used for concerts, eisteddfods, etc. the bow fronted stage comes into it's own. The curtain area and opening is 16' x 9' high and approx. 18' deep to the rear backdrop.
Benefiting from coloured spotlights behind the curtain and in front of the stage, sound is also available. The sound and lighting is controlled by console accessible from the gantry.

All productions have the use of a private stageroom accessed via a backstage door.

California Suite and Skittles Alleys

This area may be used as a disco or by a small band. There is a good sized dancing area.

Ellacombe Room

• Maximum capacity 120 people
• Available for hire on most Friday evenings and at other times during the day
• Exclusive private bar facilities
• Dancefloor
• Flat screen TV

The room offers comfortable seating areas, stage and private bar. It is a versatile room suitable for parties, weddings, fashion shows and conferences. The room has use of a large flat screen TV with many channels available.

Taylor Room

• Maximum capacity 30 people for parties, 50 theatre style
• Dimensions 11m x 6m (approx.)
• Available for hire most days

A very useful room for small parties, conference and corporate presentations.

Coffee Lounge

• Normal capacity 24 people, more theatre style
• Available for hire most days

This is the smallest room we have on offer for hire. A quiet and relaxing room with good quality seating. Suitable for meetings and presentations. Normally seats 24 but can be used for more if set out "theatre Style". e.g. for an A.G.M.

Orton Room

• Maximum capacity 80 people
• Dimensions 20m x 8m (approx.)
• Private bar
• Dancefloor
• kitchen area

The Orton Room has it's own bar, dance floor, kitchen area and benefits from a widescreen television showing most channels.

Outside facilities

Large area for car boot sales able to accommodate 200+ vehicles, fairs and shows.

Large level football grounds, marked out for football. New club stand.

Sports Bar with wide-screen TV showing a wide range of channels.

Tennis Courts are available for hire and can be used for floodlit football training in the winter.
